A Type I Generalized Logistic Distribution: Solving Its Estimation Problems with a Bayesian Approach and Numerical Applications Based on Simulated and Engineering Data

چکیده

The family of logistic type distributions has been widely studied and applied in the literature. However, certain estimation problems exist some members this family. Particularly, three-parameter I generalized distribution presents these problems, where parameter space must be restricted for existence their maximum likelihood estimators. In paper, motivated by complexities that arise inference under approach utilizing distribution, we propose a Bayesian to solve problems. A simulation study is carried out assess performance posterior distributional characteristics, such as mean, using Monte Carlo Markov chain methods. To illustrate potentiality apply proposed method real-world data related copper metallurgical engineering area.
